April 20 – 10:00 am – Silk Paint a Scarf with Louise Noel
Join silk artist, Louise Noel, for a one day journey into the brilliant and joyous realm of silk painting. We will paint a scarf, using an assortment of patterns
to choose from.  You’ll learn to transfer a pattern to a silk scarf, use resist to outline the design…then dive into vibrant color and use alcohol and salt to create texture and movement. All materials are provided, and yours to keep and use again on your second scarf.  Steam setting will be provided for your finished scarves so that you can proudly wear or display your art. 
Bring a lunch and something to drink.
This workshop will be held at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
