Annual Scholarship Art Show 2025 
SHOW VENUE:  C.V.I.C. Hall, Esmeralda & 4th Sts., Minden, Nevada. 

SHOWTIMES:
Friday, November 7,        10:00 am – 5:00 pm 
Saturday, November 8,   10:00 am – 5:00 pm     Reception   5:00 pm – 7:00 pm            
Sunday, November 9,      10:00 am – 3:00 pm 

RECEPTION: The community is invited to meet the artists at a Reception on
Saturday, November 8, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm  

RECEIVING: Entries will be accepted at the C.V.I.C. Hall
Thursday, November 6,  10:00 am – 3:00 pm
NOTHING WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 3:00 pm

MEDIA: Oil, Watercolor (Includes Gouache & Tempera), Acrylic, Dry Media (Pastel, Pencil), Wet Media (Ink and Printmaking), Photography, 3D (Sculpture, Gourd, etc.), Mixed Media (2 or more media), Other (Mosaic, Fabric, etc.).
There must be at least three entrants per category. Otherwise, those in a category with fewer than three (3) entrants will be placed in the OTHER category. 

AWARDS: The Best of Show will receive $100.00, plus a ribbon. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will receive $50.00 + a ribbon. In EACH of the Nine Categories, there will be a 1st Place $50 + ribbon, 2nd Place $25 + ribbon, 3rd Place $20.00 + ribbon. Honorable Mention ribbons will be awarded by the Judges, not by category, but to any entry deemed deserving of mention.

ENTRIES: Registration fees are PER ENTRY for a maximum of 3 entries.
NO size limit.

FEES: Fees are non-refundable. Membership fees will be accepted during receiving. 
Members:   $8.00 per entry. Members can enter up to three (3) Minor Masterpieces per Major Show entry. See Minor Masterpieces guidelines. Members who enter art but do not sign up to help during the show will be charged an additional $15.00.
Non-members:   $15.00 per entry. 
High School students:   $5.00 per entry. 

RESTRICTIONS:  New works are encouraged.
ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL AND FOR SALE. 
No copies of published works will be accepted.
No Crafts Or Jewelry.
Paintings must be Dry.
All hanging works must be framed or gallery-wrapped and be wired to hang, NO SAWTOOTH.HANGERS OR UNIFRAMES will be accepted. Frames and mats must be clean and free of nicks or scratches.

SALES: All entries must genuinely be for sale. Checks will be made payable to CVAA, which will reimburse the artist, less a 25% donation. 

PICK-UP – SUNDAY, November 8, between 3:00 & 4:00 PM. No early Pick-up!   
Work not picked up will be subject to a storage charge of $5.00 PER DAY and will be held at gadZooks. Contact gadZooks, 775-782-9665.
